Hi there! My name is Ailis. I am an avid reader and passionate writer, with a particular interest in work that allows me to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Currently, I am a graduating senior at the University of Washington in Seattle, pursuing an honors degree in English Language and Literature. My studies thus far have primarily focused on feminist approaches to literature, and I plan on writing my honors thesis on contemporary Irish women’s writing this spring, drawing on my experience studying abroad last year in Ireland.

After graduation, I hope to go on to complete a Master’s in English or Secondary Education, then make a career out of teaching and writing.
